    Description

This song started through a night of spontaneous worship. It was late but I felt a pressing need to worship. I had no intention of writing a song.
I just wanted to spend some time with God. After a good half hour of worshipping with my guitar,
I started imagining how it would be like to worship in complete freedom, without the limitations of our bodies and surroundings,
and the indescribable glee to finally dance with our Lover. I could not stop singing.
It was so peaceful and satisfying just to come before His presence and sing what came to my heart.

Then these lines flowed out, and it did not make sense until a few weeks later.

Friends and families around me were becoming ill and trapped in unthinkable circumstances.
Then I started to understand why God put these melodies and lyrics in my heart. I began to fathom a tiny bit of His heart too.
When we are hurting, our Father is also hurting. He loves us so dearly. And when we are without hope, we need to look to the future.
There is a day when we, sons and daughters of the Almighty God, will be with Him. We will gather in utter joy and freedom,
with no more troubles, no more tears, no more pain and sorrow, praising and worshipping with all the saints and angels for eternity. There is hope.
I felt helpless in making my friends and families' situations better.  All I could do was to pray through this song night after night, that they would find hope and take heart.
It is still my prayer every time I sing this song. Psalm 27:14 "wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart".
Let's look forward to the day when we can be together and dance in the Kingdom of God. What a beautiful sight it will be.
Just imagine the people you love, joyfully and freely dancing, praising and singing songs that will be far more beautiful than anything we have ever heard.
We will be shouting because of our incontrollable happiness. There is hope.
    Take heart!
