Description
Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 1 was written in 1797-1798. It was from his Opus 12 set,
which includes Violin Sonata No. 2 and 3. This work was dedicated to Antonio Salieri,
with whom Beethoven was studying vocal composition. The three movements are as follow:
1. Allegro con brio
2. Tema con variazioni: Andante con moto
3. Rondo: Allegro
