Song 2 is similar to song 1 harmonically, playing pretty much the same notes and arpeggio shapes. However the rhythm’s are different. As in the Groove 1 songs, many of the song example’s will be changed rhythmically more so than harmonically. I can’t stress enough how important rhythm is !!! All the great players know that rhythm is the most important aspect of a musician’s playing. Just by displacing the starting note of a line from the downbeat to the second 8th note (or other) you can drastically change the feel of the line. In song 2 we are playing 8th note triplets but starting on the second 8th note of the triplet
